Tyler helped me out with a flickering light issue (the ENTIRE) house was like we were at a rave. He came out the same day that I reached out and naturally the lights weren’t flickering when he came, and then came again a few days later when they flickered again. He was very kind to provide some cheaper suggestions to the problem (swap out all the light bulbs) and gave advice on how to deal with eversource, cause the first two visits there wasn’t a conclusive reason for the flickering. He is VERY honest, extremely responsive, and takes the time to talk you through what might be going on for my weird situation. If you need an electrician who won’t rip you off and is a wonderful human - call Tyler.
Response from the owner
Thank you so much for the awesome review! That was definitely a tough one to catch with the intermittent flickering, but I’m glad we were able to stay on top of it and work through the possibilities together.
Situations like that can be tricky, especially when it may involve the utility side with Eversource, so I always try to give honest guidance and help point customers in the right direction without jumping to unnecessary or expensive fixes.
I really appreciate you recognizing the communication and transparency—that’s something we take pride in at TJF Electric.
Thanks again for your support, and if you ever need help with any electrical issues in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out!

We can’t say enough great things about the fantastic service and workmanship TJF Electric provided at our home. Tyler is extremely responsive, prompt, and courteous — qualities you don’t always find nowadays.
We explained what we were hoping to do, and he walked us through exactly what would be required. Our project included adding recessed lighting in four first‑floor rooms and replacing three ceiling fans. Because the second floor sits directly above, there’s no easy access to the ceiling. Other electricians insisted they would need to cut holes and channels, but Tyler explained how he could complete the work cleanly without doing that.
We really appreciated his thorough explanations and the fact that he never pressured us. He offered thoughtful suggestions we hadn’t considered, and it truly felt like a collaboration. His attention to detail and craftsmanship clearly show how much pride he takes in doing the job right.
We highly recommend TJF Electric — Tyler has absolutely earned a lifelong customer!

From the moment Tyler came in for a consultation and estimation, we wanted to work with him. We found him through his incredible Facebook and Google reviews and he sure lived up to them!
We haven’t had light in our living room since the day we moved in, almost 8 years ago! We were so sick of our dimly, lamp-lit room so we decided to start looking for someone to give us some real light! Unfortunately, we were told by a few people it would be extremely difficult to install due to the way the joists run, but Tyler came in and said “no problem” and installed them without ripping our ceiling apart! Him and his colleague were extremely clean, polite, and professional! I’d tell anyone and everyone to go with TJF Electric!
Response from the owner
Thank you so much, Heather! We’re thrilled Tyler and the team were able to bring real light to your living room without major disruption and that we lived up to our reviews. I’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Tyler and his colleague — they’ll be delighted. If you ever need anything else or want to recommend us, please reach out anytime.
Thank you!
